Abstract

he study was conducted at the Petroleum - Gas University of Ploiesti and continues two previous studies, one conducted in 2011 and one conducted in 2014, updating the data obtained during the time of three years (2016-2018). In all these years, 50 students were targeted, the results being compared and interpreted based on the Physical Activity Index (IAF). The boys are found to be not sufficiently active / relatively sedentary with a poor physical condition, except for the study conducted in 2018 which showed that for the boys there is an improvement in the mean value, characterized by an acceptable lifestyle, though there is a need for change, the category of physical condition in this case being reasonable. Chalanging sedentarism must become an objective of major importance in modern society, this combat having as a goal the improvement or even the fight against the deterioration that may occur to the individual's health.
