Abstract

The document is an important communication tool between the organization’s departments and in the relations with other companies. The most document management software solutions approach the problem from the point of transition from the old organization systems to the new electronic classification and recording tools based on databases. The supervising and control of the documents, their workflow, the speed of taking decisions at managerial level are the main reasons to for implementing document management systems. In this context, the article presents the main aspects concerning the use of document management systems.
