Abstract

The authors review and analyze the results of the All-Russian scientific and practical conference “Regional spatial development: unevenness vs sustainability”, held in Chelyabinsk on November 28—29, 2019. The article presents a digest of the main conference events, and also touches upon the key issues of the discussions on regional spatial development and conclusions made at the conference which indicate the possibility to apply modern theories, methodologies and practices of spatial development to solving problems in a particular region.
