Abstract

The article considers the conditions, institutional foundations and consequences of the «parade» of surrogate currencies, which became widespread in Russia after the revolutionary events of 1917. An attempt is made to consider the formation of money circulation in Russia in political and historical contexts. The value of regulation of monetary relations on state sovereignty is determined. Through the circulation of funds of anti-Soviet issuers the socio-political situation in the country in the period 1917—1922 is analyzed. The influence of monetary policy and the system of monetary circulation on the nature and parameters of the implementation of state power is shown.
