Abstract

The article dwells upon the problem of forming the methodology of social cognition and its historic evolution. Proceeding rom the assumption that a design principle has a key role in this process, the authors try to reveal the conditions and reasons for ideologization of social cognition in the Soviet science of the XX century. Ulterior motive for stagnation in the sphere of methodology of social cognition in modern Russian science is the discourse of revolution. It was formed under the influence of system transformation of European society in the spheres of politics, economy, social institutions, and culture. Under the name of Marxian dialectic it has become not only metamethodology of social science but had a negative effect in some branches of natural science and mathematics. As the first step of renovating methodology of social cognition the authors consider deideologization as a process of eliminating the discourse of revolution and creating conditions for forming a new general scientific discourse.
