Abstract

The article is devoted to understanding ontological aspects of innovations in connection with the phenomenon of power from the viewpoint of humanistic approach based on values of reasonable freedom of will and creativity of a person. Creative activity of a person or a group of people aimed at solving topical social problems and tasks is defined as an essential reason for innovation on the stage of formation. Power is considered as the context of up-to-date innovative activity, current way of managing social development and organizing social activity. Consequently, phenomenon of power as a context and as a product of culture can be transformed or excluded from cultural context in the process of progressive innovative development of a society. To realize strategic transformations of forms and mechanisms of social-economic relations in a society in accordance with the aims of stable development the author justifies recommendations for working out innovative policy advancing and supporting strategic social innovations.
