Abstract

Measurement of life quality of disabled people is of interest for both evaluating the real socio-economic status of the group and for controlling effectiveness of managerial decisions made for the purposes of its increasing and stabilizing. The article presents a variant of calculating index of life quality of disabled people on the basis of the results of the survey taking place in the Vologda Region in 2013–2014. The author formulates recommendations regarding priority directions of work aimed at removing obstacles for integrating disabled people and society.
