Abstract

At the moment, the most relevant topic all over the world is project management in public authorities and the effectiveness of its use. In foreign practice, and in Russia, there are many examples of the use of innovative technologies for the development of the activities of executive authorities. However, there are also various problems associated with a competent approach to the use of project management. This article discusses the use of a hybrid approach of project management in executive authorities and its effectiveness with a com-petent synthesis of project methods. The main purpose of the work is to show the importance of project management elements in state and municipal authorities. Particular attention is paid to modern Agile methods of flexible management, the traditional PRINCE2 method and turquoise management in government. It is in the public service that work takes place in the shortest possible time, accompanied by numerous routine activities, and in order to achieve the desired result, it is important to use all the advantages of hybrid manage-ment in the public sector.
