Abstract

A modern young specialist needs to possess the softskills, which are associated with communication and leadership skills, conflict management skills to be in demand in the labor market and successful in professional activities. Softskills are part of a broader group of supra-professional skills. Modern domestic and foreign researchers in the field of education and labor pay attention to the need to reorient the education system to a deeper mastery of supra-professional skills by students. The article examines conflict management skills as part of supra-professional skills and self-management. Conflict management skills are considered from the point of view of the competence approach. A model of conflictological competence is presented. The main tasks in conflict management are considered, they are correlated with L. Gainer's organizational change management model.
