Abstract

The article analyzes the actual problems of the political processes of the modern state, understanding its role and place in world political processes in the context of globalization. The article examines in detail the problems of conceptualizing a sovereign state in the context of globalization, challenges and increased conflict in world political processes. The article assesses the risks and challenges to a sovereign state in the context of neoliberalism, highlights the role of global economic and political institutions in the implementation of neoliberal approaches and principles of global regulation.
