Abstract

The subject of research in the article is mentoring as a social institution and a universal social technology of assistance in the formation of meta-competencies, meanings and values of young people in the process of social partnership. For the successful implementation of the functions of mentoring in the current conditions of the crisis of society, it is necessary to revise the main theoretical and methodological guidelines of the mentoring institute, the fundamental principles and anthropopraktics of self-development in the activities of the mentor. The role of the mentor in the student period of personality development is shown.
