Abstract

The article analyzes the modern mechanisms of regional innovative development. Based on the main provisions of the implementation of the cluster innovation policy, the authors put forward the assumption that the current period of economic transformation should switch to the strategy of "smart specialization", as this will combine the most effective methods of regional innovation development.
