Abstract

La calidad en la educación superior constituye un elemento central de los procesos de gestión universitaria; su alcance contempla la formación, la investigación, así como la vinculación con la sociedad. Asegurar este proceso es un desafío permanente para cualquier sistema educativo en el contexto de la sociedad del conocimiento, la creciente internacionalización de la educación terciaria, y el aumento de cobertura, la diversidad del sistema a nivel global y la contingencia provocada por la pandemia de la COVID-19. Valorar la calidad de los procesos sustantivos alcanzados por las instituciones de educación superior, en correspondencia con la normativa vigente en Ecuador, ha sido el objetivo de la presente investigación, teniendo como escenario la Universidad Técnica de Manabí.
