Modelo de Credit Scoring para el otorgamiento de microcréditos en Guantánamo

Abstract

El objetivo de esta investigación es presentar un modelo de evaluación Credit Scoring para perfeccionar la concesión de microcréditos a los Trabajadores por Cuenta Propia, capaz de obtener la probabilidad de incumplimiento con el pago a las sucursales bancarias. La novedad consiste en un instrumento econométrico que determina los factores de riesgos crediticios, dado las características socioeconómicas del deudor. Esta metodología combina el análisis de regresión y el sistema de evaluación de riesgos como herramienta que disminuye la morosidad e incumplimientos en la cartera crediticia y que, a partir de la clasificación oportuna de buenos o malos clientes, con un 79 % de efectividad, otorgará al banco mayor calidad en la gestión financiera, en la seguridad del avalista y la disminución del tiempo en el proceso de concesión del microcrédito.
