Análise Espacial do Desenvolvimento Rural da Mesorregião Noroeste do Rio Grande do Sul

Abstract

O objetivo deste estudo consiste em criar um Índice de Desenvolvimento Rural Municipal (IDRM) e verificar a distribuição espacial desse índice na mesorregião Noroeste Rio-Grandense. Para isso, utiliza-se a análise fatorial visando à identificação dos fatores comuns associados ao grau de desenvolvimento rural nos 216 municípios que compõem a mesorregião estudada, bem como a análise exploratória de dados espaciais (AEDE). Como principais resultados, observou-se que o município de Palmeira das Missões possui o maior IDRM, enquanto São José do Herval possui o menor IDRM. Além disso, é possível observar que os municípios que pertencem à microrregião de Frederico Westphalen são os que apresentam os menores índices, enquanto os municípios situados na região centro-sul são os que possuem os índices mais elevados.
