Impacto de la dependencia en la renta de los recursos naturales sobre la desigualdad de ingresos en los países de la Comunidad Andina

Abstract

La presente investigación analiza el impacto de la dependencia de los recursos naturales en la desigualdad de ingresos, mediante datos de series de tiempo para los países de la Comunidad Andina de Naciones en el periodo 1990-2015, utilizando técnicas de cointegración. Se plantea un modelo ARDL para la relación de largo plazo, un modelo de corrección del error (VEC) para el corto plazo y la prueba de causalidad de Granger. Los resultados según el modelo ARDL indica que existe equilibrio a largo plazo entre la renta de los recursos naturales y la desigualdad de ingresos. En el modelo VEC, se determinó que existe un equilibrio a corto plazo entre las variables analizadas. Mediante el test de causalidad de Granger se determinó una relación unidireccional entre las variables de Bolivia y Colombia.
