L'économétrie des contrats : Le rôle des archives de paie, des expériences et des modèles économiques

Abstract

L’économie des contrats étudie les mécanismes qui visent à améliorer les échanges en présence d’informations asymétriques. Ces modèles, dont la base a été largement développée pendant les années 1970, sont maintenant le sujet de plusieurs livres; voir, par exemple, Laffont et Tirole (1993), Laffont et Martimort (2002), Bolton et Dewatripont (2004) et Salanié (2005). L’application de ces idées à l’intérieur de l’entreprise met en valeur la relation entre les propriétaires de l’entreprise et les travailleurs, une relation qui est marquée par la présence d’informations asymétriques au niveau de la productivité potentielle des travailleurs. Une attention particulière est portée à comment structurer les contrats salariaux dans le but de maximiser la profitabilité des entreprises dans ces circonstances. Parsons (1986), Hart et Holmström (1987) et Malcomson (1999) présentent des revues de cette littérature.
