Satisfaction des enseignants et performances scolaires au Bénin

Abstract

Cette étude examine l’effet de la satisfaction des enseignants sur les performances scolaires. Sur données de la base PASEC du Bénin, nous avons estimé par les méthodes Probit et Tobit des modèles de déterminants de la satisfaction des enseignants d’une part et d’autre part, par la méthode des modèles linéaires hiérarchiques nous avons estimé un modèle des déterminants des performances scolaires. Nos résultats suggèrent que la rémunération, le statut professionnel, la qualification des enseignants sont des variables qui expliquent la satisfaction des enseignants. Par ailleurs, il ressort que la satisfaction des enseignants a une influence significative et positive sur les performances scolaires.
