Abstract

Au cours des dernières années le Québec a amorcé un débat de fond sur la réforme de sa fiscalité. En 2014, le gouvernement du Québec a mis sur pied la Commission d’examen de la fiscalité québécoise (CEFQ) qui a publié ses recommandations il y a déjà plus d’un an. Bien que certaines aient déjà été appliquées, le rapport lui-même fait toujours l’objet de débats tant parmi les élus que dans les cercles académiques. D’autre part, le gouvernement fédéral a récemment considéré apporter certaines révisions à sa propre fiscalité. Dans ce contexte, il nous apparaissait opportun d’inviter plusieurs économistes à partager leur expertise et leurs suggestions quant à un éventuel réaménagement de la fiscalité du Québec.
