Poner el trabajo de pie: Notas para situar la cuestión laboral en una transición ecosocialista

Abstract

El objetivo de este artículo es abordar la conceptualización del trabajo en una transición hacia una economía ecosocial. En primer lugar se analiza el papel del trabajo en las sociedades humanas y su forma particular en el capitalismo. La visión del trabajo en el capitalismo es inadecuada por tres razones básicas: se ignora el trabajo no mercantil, se enmascara la diferencia entre distintos tipos de actividades y se confunde el objetivo de la satisfacción de las necesidades por el de la creación de empleo. En segundo lugar se abordan las raíces laborales de la desigualdad. Se discuten los aspectos sociales que legitiman las desigualdes, se cuestiona el papel atribuido a la productividad laboral y se analizan las transformaciones del trabajo en la economía neoliberal. Por último se proponen líneas de intervención para resituar el tema del trabajo en un proceso de transición.
