La elasticidad de la oferta de trabajo en la economía española

Abstract

En este artículo analizamos la elasticidad de la oferta de factor trabajo frente al salario real, para el caso de la economía española en el periodo 2002 – 2019 mediante la metodología ARDL. Las evidencias obtenidas son contrarias a una de las hipótesis básicas de los modelos de ciclo económico real (Real Business Cycle), esto es, la elevada elasticidad de la oferta de trabajo frente al salario real, que permite convertir los shock tecnológicos transitorios en movimientos cíclicos del empleo y, por tanto, de la producción.
