Medios De Vida De Las Familias Dedicadas A Actividades Agrícolas Y Ganaderas En El Cantón De Guatuso, Alajuela. Clasificación Mediante Conglomerados

Abstract

Mediante un análisis de conglomerados, las familias del cantón de Guatuso, Costa Rica son clasificadas en tres diferentes tipologías (pequeños, medianos y grandes productores) de acuerdo a la disponibilidad de capitales (físico, social, natural, humano y financiero) con que cuentan. Sin embargo la tipología más representativa en la zona son las familias con una disponibilidad baja de capitales y que pueden ser clasificados como pequeños productores. Por otra parte existe una relación directa la disponibilidad de capitales de las familias, la escala de producción y la integración al mercado, es decir, las familias clasificadas como grandes productores tienen una mayor disponibilidad de todos los capitales lo las hace más capaces de ajustarse a las condiciones que presenta el mercado internacional actual.
