Rol del Tribunal Ambiental Administrativo: protección y prevención en materia ambiental

Abstract

A través de este artículo, se pretende difundir la existencia de un órgano llamado "Tribunal Ambiental Administrativo" que tutela la legislación ambiental y los recursos naturales donde todo ciudadano, persona física o jurídica puede plantear denuncias cuando existan violaciones en esa materia. Además, se intenta resaltar los aportes que brinda, no solo para Costa Rica, sino a nivel mundial, debido a que la protección y la prevención es responsabilidad de todos. Los gobiernos, el Estado y sus instituciones, las personas físicas y jurídicas y cada uno de los que vivimos en este planeta debemos concientizar que el desarrollo debe ser sostenible, sin considerar que el ambiente es un obstáculo para el desarrollo. Por esa razón, el conocimiento de órganos públicos como el Tribunal Ambiental Administrativo es importante para ejercer derechos, denunciar el incumplimiento de la legislación ambiental y brindar una correcta protección a los recursos naturales
