Estrategias de la industria maquiladora Delphi en Sinaloa para enfrentar la crisis económica de 2007-2009

Abstract

La actual crisis económica mundial presenta características diferenciadoras de las demás crisis que México ha tenido en las décadas pasadas. El ingrediente adicional es que ésta nueva dinámica económica proviene principalmente de los Estados Unidos de América; la crisis económica ha afectado significativamente al sector manufacturero maquilador del país, que desde hace una década presentaba ya signos inequívocos de las dificultades económicas que se avecinaban; para contrarrestarla, las estrategias principales de Delphi en Sinaloa han sido: la reducción de riesgos, la diversificación, la concentración y la reducción de costos.
