Política económica en Costa Rica: un análisis en retrospectiva

Abstract

El presente estudio se orienta al estudio de la política económica, hechos y enfoques predominante en la república de Costa Rica durante las últimas tres décadas. Presenta el marco de referencia que envuelve la acción de gobierno en medio de las propuestas y ?condicionalidad? de los organismos financieros institucionales, los problemas locales de las finanzas públicas y la reforma financiera, y los requerimientos de una nueva era en el ámbito de la economía internacional. Se siguen los trazos de nuevos actores, además las implicaciones para el país de la denominada macroeconomía conservadora y se propone que existe una unidad y definida línea de acción en la política económica in Costa Rica por lo menos en el período 1985-2010, se sugiere que análogas características presenta la región de Latino América de acuerdo a estudios del Fondo Monetario Internacional que se mencionan: un clima regional común in las condiciones ambientales, prácticas y políticas en el período considerado.
