La globalización como nuevo referente de las culturas nacionales, y dentro de estas la ética entendida como la operacionalización del sistema de valores

Abstract

El proceso de globalización es un fenómeno de vieja data que ha cobrado una gran relevancia en los últimos 15 años. Esto se debe a la intensidad, alcance y velocidad que ha cobrado el proceso debido al impulso que le ha dado la proliferación de las grandes corporaciones transnacionales, cuyos procesos productivos y de comercialización han trascendido las fronteras de los países. Este hecho plantea un nuevo orden económico internacional y una nueva realidad nacional para los países, el cual que escapa el debate político ideológico y se traslada al campo económico. Son las culturas organizacionales de estas corporaciones los nuevos referentes de las culturas nacionales: la puntualidad, cumplimiento de especificaciones, etc. lo que va regir el comportamiento de los individuos y estos serán trasladados a sus grupos cercanos: las familias, amigos y otros. Este es, precisamente, el tema del presente artículo.
