Análisis Dinámico Del Desempleo En Costa Rica Para El Periodo 2010-2011

Abstract

En el presente artículo se realizó un análisis dinámico del mercado laboral en Costa Rica para elperiodo 2010-2011, utilizando datos trimestrales de la Encuesta Continua de Empleo (ECE) quellevó a cabo el Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Censos (INEC). Mediante un análisis de los flujoslaborales, a través de matrices de transición del mercado laboral, se mide el cambio en la condiciónde actividad de la población en el corto plazo; luego de esto, por medio de modelos probabilísticosmultinomiales, se buscó determinar las características que definen la condición de actividad de lapersona y las características que explican la probabilidad de transición desde cada estado del mercadolaboral hacia otro estado.
