Las nuevas Zonas Económicas Especiales de México: expansión geográfica del capital trasnacional

Abstract

La puesta en marcha de Zonas Económicas Especiales en México forma parte del proceso de expansión geográfica del capital trasnacional en territorios de los estados del sur-sureste. Con su implementación grandes reconfiguraciones socio-territoriales se configuran al observarse la dotación de espacios físicos, construcción de infraestructuras, procesos de reconversión productiva, de implementación de facilidades fiscales y aduanales y subvenciones gubernamentales para la llegada de los capitales trasnacionales. A lo que suma el fortalecimiento del capital global frente a los poderes locales y regionales como lo muestra ya el proceso de construcción de esta iniciativa en detrimento de los municipios, los gobiernos estatales y la dinámicas socioculturales de la vida campesina e indígena.
