Democracia y violencia: dos conceptos alternativos Una perspectiva desde la obra Jürgen Habermas

Abstract

En el presente ensayo se aborda el tema de la violencia con relación al poder desde dos aspectos sociales generales: el Estado y la economía, interpretando la obra del científico social alemán Jürgen Habermas. La propuesta es que violencia y democracia son dos conceptos y prácticas contrapuestas en la sociedad moderna cuya radicalización hace que una tienda a desaparecer en la medida en que la otra se impone. En general, este ensayo pretende ser parte de las inquietudes mexicanas por la violencia cada día más cotidiana, mediante la propuesta de una vía de análisis de la obra de Habermas.
