Inversión, deuda y crecimiento en empresas mexicanas de elevada capitalización

Abstract

El propósito de esta investigación es analizar cuál es la vinculación entre inversión, deuda y crecimiento en las empresas mexicanas de elevada capitalización. Este análisis tiene como finalidad determinar si en estas empresas se reproduce el escenario observable en la actualidad que ocurre tanto a nivel nacional como internacional, y tanto en el sector público como en el sector privado: la existencia de un endeudamiento creciente derivado de compromisos financieros, pero escasa inversión productiva y por ende limitado crecimiento. Los principales resultados de la investigación sugieren la pertinencia de la hipótesis Postkeynesiana, que resalta la importancia de la estructura financiera de la empresa sobre las magnitudes de inversión y producción.
