La gestión medioambiente en la industria maquiladora de Hermosillo, Sonora, México

Abstract

El ejercicio de la gestión medioambiental como una expresión de la responsabilidad con el medio ambiente en las plantas maquiladoras de Hermosillo, Sonora es el objeto de estudio de esta investigación, cuyo interés fue determinar el grado y estilo cotidiano de ejercicio de la misma. El desarrollo de la investigación se condujo como un estudio cualitativo, a fin de obtener todas las posibles opciones de operación y captar la visión que sobre la gestión y el medio ambiente tienen las plantas maquiladoras estudiadas. Los resultados del estudio permitieron reconocer las características de la gestión medioambiental y su fuente de ejercicio, a través del análisis del impacto ambiental, y los modos de operación. La conclusión de la investigación es la existencia de un tipo de gestión medioambiental pragmática sin mayor complejidad o interés en el medio ambiente.
