Abstract

[eng] Cognitive Psychology and Economic Decision-Making The topic of the paper is to explain how the economic theories of decision- making have been transformed by the recent contributions of the cognitive psychology, through Khaneman and Tversky's prospect theory. A first part, in an historical perspective, reminds the use of German psychophysiolo- gists'discoveries by the British margi- nalists at the end of XIXe century. A second part is devoted to the analysis of prospect theory, as the starting point of a new paradigme and discusses some of its applications, namely in behavioral finance. A last part wonders about the ways for cognitive psychology to penetrate game theory.
