Abstract

[fre] L'examen du mode de formation des taux d'intérêt à court terme par les banques centrales, de la structure par terme des taux d'intérêt et de la transmission internationale des mouvements de taux permet d'évaluer le degré d'autonomie des politiques monétaires et l'importance des facteurs conjoncturels ou structurels dans la détermination des niveaux de taux. [eng] Examining the way central banks control short-term interest rates, the term structure of interest rates and the international transmission of interest rates disturbances helps to evaluate the degree of autonomy of national monetary policies and the relative weights of short-term or structural factors in the determination of interest rate levels.
