Abstract

[eng] Intra-firm trade, production costs uncertainty and trade barriers. . Within a certainly context, T. Horst [1971] has shown that trade-barriers (tariffs, transport costs...) indice, for a large number of technological situations, the existence of intra-firm trade.. In this article, we analyse the impact of uncertainly about firms production costs on this Kind of trade. In particular, we show that, in this context, exports and production abroad may be complementary for multinational firms.
