Abstract

[fre] A Theory of Economie History in Place of Economie Theory ? . . [eng] A theory of economic history in place of economic theory ?. . Economic historians have responded to their academic marginality (fully accepted neither by economists nor by politico-cultural historians) by an apologetic and imitative stance, particularly vis-a-vis economists. On the contrary, thery should assert that, both theoretically and methodologically, all of economies should become economie history. A number of specific guidelines are suggested.
