Abstract

[eng] Indivwual profiles and segmentation . Of the labour market. Raymond Leban, Jacques Lesourne. The concept of segmented labour markets is often based on the different levels of stability offered by jobs. The study of a local labour market mode by the authors provides a typology of workers which reveal that individual characterisctics are also relevant when defining stability. The market exhibits two inter-connected segmentations since the sortings of individuals by job suppliers and of jobx by individuals are simultaneously achieved.
