Abstract

[eng] The Chinese pattern of industrialization . The chinese pattern of industrialization results from an historical trend. The soviet model which had been followed in a first period appeared to be unfitted from an economie point of view — if did not solve the cmployment problem — and should be rejccted from the political point of view for it sacrificed agriculture and, consequently, the peasantry, that is to say 90 % of the chinese people. The Great Lleap Forward is the beginning of a new period during which China looks for a new way of development which would do with that prime data : the chinese peasantry. This attempt met with success since the small rural industry if nowadays a fact that alloivs a fast and balanced growth of industry and agriculture. But beyond successful economic development a new pattern of society is outlined.
