[fre] Cet article s'appuie sur une évaluation du programme agri-environnemental Franc-Comtois, réalisée antérieurement à celle lancée dans chaque région française, en 1 997 avec une méthodologie commune. Ce matériau repose donc sur une approche originale, élaborée pour répondre aux deux enjeux de ce type d'évaluation : leur échelle régionale et leurs multiples registres de questionnement (écologique, économique, sociologique, politique). À la lumière des résultats obtenus, mais aussi des attentes des commanditaires non satisfaites, on formulera des recommandations sur l'évaluation de politique publique dans le domaine concerné. On conclura ainsi sur la nécessité d'articuler ce type de démarche avec certains autres travaux sur les outils d'aide à la décision.
