Abstract

[eng] The impact of the cap reform on the income of specialized cattle breeders of the region of Midi-Pyrénées . Cattle breeders of Midi-Pyrénées, mostly located in disavantaged areas, have generally very low incomes. For this kind of producers, the cap reform will have had, at the end of the transitory period (1995) a positive financial impact, due to the entensive systems of production, the nature of the products (low value-added) and the favourable market prices situation since 1992. [fre] Dans cette étude, on simule les effets de la réforme de la PAC sur le revenu d'un groupe d'exploitations spécialisées en élevage allaitant, dans les zones défavorisées de la région Midi-Pyrénées. Pour ces éleveurs à revenu très faible, la réforme aura, au terme de la période transitoire, des effets nettement positifs. Ceux-ci tiennent à la faiblesse des chargements à l'hectare, à la nature des produits (faible valeur ajoutée) et à la conjoncture favorable des prix de marché depuis 1992.
