Abstract

[fre] Ce travail étudie le développement de l'économie contractuelle dans l'agriculture, en prenant le cas de la production porcine au Parana, sud du Brésil. Les aspects technologiques, commerciaux et organisationnels des contrats sont analysés. Est aussi étudié le rôle de la contractualisation pour les exploitations familiales les plus concernées par ces formes de relations agriculture/industrie. [eng] Farmers' strategies : the role of contract farming in agriculture-industry relationship . This paper studies the development of contract farming in pig production, a case study in south Brazil. The technological, commercial and organisational elements of the contracts are analyzed. It also examines the role of contract farming on family farms, the most usual in this type of relationship linking agriculture to industries.
