Abstract

[eng] Farm structures ad justement and regional contexts within Europe . Other gainful activities (OGA) among farm families are examined in relation with the average farm economic dimension and the degree of diversification of regional economies. In the south of Europe as well as in the Northern part, among the 24 study areas, farms appear to be taken over as pluri-activity expands, whilst, in the medium part, exits of farms seem to be the main adjustment process.
