La gestion financière des exploitations agricoles en 1991 : les différents modes d'adaptation aux variations conjoncturelles

The unfavourable economic conditions made self-financing income negative for 44 farms out of 100. That proportion is greater for "other viticulture", "beef cattle" and mixed farming" economic orientations. That is the result of a financial analysis made from the accounts of FADN results (in French, RICA : Reseau d'information comptable agricole). Variations in balance sheet between the beginning and end of a budgetary year are particularly well described in the statement of changes in financial position. It requires three important notions in financial analysis : working capital ("fonds de roulement"), increase in working capital ("besoin en fonds de roulement") and net cash ("trésorerie nette"). Through the statement of changes in financial position may be studied differences by type of production as well as performances according to the importance of total investment. In the field of observation of FADN farms three classes may thus be distinguished in 1991 : 312 000 small investors ( 100 000F). The investment is as a whole financed by loans while great investors increase their liability by 100 000F. La conjoncture défavorable a rendu l'autofinancement négatif pour 44 % des exploitations. Cette proportion est supérieure pour les orientations "autre viticulture", "bovins viande" et "polyculture". Ceci ressort d'une analyse financière effectuée à partir des comptabilités du RICA (réseau d'information comptable agricole). Les variations du patrimoine entre le début et la fin d'en exercice sont particulièrement bien décrites par le tableau de financement. Il fait appel à trois notions importantes en analyse financière, le fonds de roulement net, le besoin en fonds de roulement et la trésorerie nette. Outre, les différences par production, le tableau de financement permet d'étudier les comportements selon l'importance de l'investissement total. Dans le champ d'observation des exploitations du RICA, trois classes sont ainsi distinguées en 1991, : 312 000 faibles investisseurs (moins de 50 000 F), 80 700 moyens investisseurs (50 à 100 000 F ) et 133 200 forts investisseurs les forts investisseurs augmentent leur endettement de 100 000 F.
