Abstract

[eng] A clear distinction between food economics and rural economics would allow the clarification of the socio- economical analyses regarding agriculture. The intersectorial and spatial conjunctions between these three « approaches » in the context of social and economic development should allow the construction of a theory relating to agricultural agro-food and rural development. [fre] Une distinction claire entre économie alimentaire, économie agricole et économie rurale permettrait de clarifier les analyses socio-économiques concernant l'agriculture. Les interférences intersectorielles et spatiales entre ces trois « approches », dans le contexte du développement économique et social devraient permettre de construire une théorie du développement agricole, agro-alimentaire et rural qui fait encore gravement défaut.
