Abstract

[eng] This paper deals with the historical problem of unequal development between North and South of Italy. We try to define the regional typologies based on some parameters of the level and of the traits of agricultural development. The hypothesis is that, although there are very important social and economical differences between North and South of Italy, there is an heterogeneous situation of regional systems in every large geographical area. . Following the cluster analysis the groups obtained confirm our hypothesis. At the beginning of the seventies in every large geographical area we can see a very heterogeneous situation, which that is much more important at the end of the seventies.
