Abstract

[eng] Agricultural income, agricultural saving, and household levy - The year 1978 - The changes in the values of agricultural income, savings (eventually negative) and household levies are observed, taking into account theeconomic size of farms and a typology of agricultural families. . The following points can be noted : a) farmers without heirs are consuming their capital as well as those running farms smaller than 20 ha (wheat equivalent) ; b) the development of farms is to uncertain up to 40 ha (w.e.) because it is entirely financed through borrowing ; c) in farm larger than 40 ha and smaller than 200 ha (w.e.), the income allows to partially finance growth, together with borrowing ; d) growth is entirely self financed only for farms larger than 200 ha (w.e.)
