Abstract

[eng] Elements for a ten years assessment of development plans - Development plans — in their rules as well as in their use — do not seem will fitted with investment conditions of French farm although the beneficiaries (and their project) according to are rather different their ages their levels of training, their locations. The impact of the plans is markedly weaker than in the other EEC countries and very different from one department to another one. Once the plans are archieved, the results are rather disappointing, especially for the areas and the farms which are little modernized or not modernized. The improvment of the financing conditions was revealed as inadequate for bringing up the means of production really competitive. In other respects, the specific rules of selectivity and rationalization have little worked.
