Abstract

[eng] Conclusions of a research where the main question is to know to what extent one can speak of secondary homes integration in the rural landscape. These newcomers are considered as new partners in the rural context where all partners are changing. In this way the analysis of the category « secondary residents » is mixed with a larger analysis of the social and economic shifts of the local context wherein they are inserted : rural and urban population shifts, production and consomption use of the land and landscape, new settlement pattern.
