Abstract

[eng] "Economie sociale" and financing of farmers' cooperatives - In agriculture, the "Economie Sociale" has an important cooperative component covering cooperatives proper and local and regional mutual credit banks (CAM). The legal, institutional and financial measures applied for "Economie Sociale" since the second half-year of 1981 hardly concern agricultural cooperatives. Cooperative banks play only a secondary role in the agricultural world, with the exception of the CAM who provides more than 90 % of the agricultural cooperatives' financing. [fre] La composante coopérative de l'Economie Sociale (ES) agricole comprend les coopératives agricoles et les caisses locales et régionales du Crédit agricole mutuel (CAM). Les mesures législatives, institutionnelles, financières, prises en faveur de l'Economie Sociale depuis le second trimestre de 1981, ne concernent que fort peu les coopératives agricoles. Les banques coopératives ne conservant qu'un rôle marginal dans le monde de l'agriculture, à l'exception du CAM, ce dernier assure actuellement plus de 90 % du financement bancaire des coopératives agricoles.
