Abstract

[eng] When compared with the sixties total work load is now lighter but the household-farm breakdown unchanged. In fact farm women provide a larger share of productive farm tasks and there is great fragmentation throughout the day between many heterogeneous activities. The way to a liberation of women would require redistribution of tasks and access to more responsibility rather than just lighter work.
