Critères alimentaires et nutritionnels dans l'évaluation des projets

Abstract

[fre] Les critères habituels d'évaluation des projets de développement rural semblent, dans beaucoup de zones rurales des pays du Tiers-Monde, gravement insuffisants, car ils s'appuient toujours sur des « modèles », d'unité de production, de motivation paysanne, d'organisation des producteurs. De plus, ils sont toujours exprimés en valeur monétaire. Dans beaucoup de zones rurales, c'est davantage l'élévation du niveau de satisfaction des « besoins sociaux » que l'amélioration des revenus monétaires qui doit être recherchée. D'où la nécessité de rechercher dans la sphère de l'alimentation et de la nutrition de nouveaux critères d'évaluation de projets. [eng] The criteria classically used in evaluation of rural development projects are not well suited in the case of many third world areas. They imply the existence of production units and require monetary units. In many rural areas, the objective is to better satisfy certain needs rather than improvement of money income. Food and nutrition can provide new criteria for project evaluation.
